In the
near term, The Artful Framer will begin to explore digital photo and
document services. These services include Photo-to-Art, photo and
document restoration, digital hand-coloring, portraitization techniques,
and other fine-art services including making photos or other art
resemble an oil painting, a watercolor, or recreation in a pastels look.
These works will be deliverable on specialty art papers and canvas, and
will be of art quality, and can be made ready to be matted and framed.
Other basic digital services might include adding text to an image or
graphic, changing backgrounds or background colors, correcting colors,
lightening or darkening, editing or creating motion effects, removing
red eye, and much more.
With the explosive growth that computers have availed the world, art --
of any kind -- holds no exception to the rule. Photo editing and
retouching is here to stay!
